If you want to try and make a difference, 2 names and 50 bucks is all it takes. Paula told me if I were going to run for office again that I couldn’t feature Travis and Parker in my campaign materials. She thinks no one will take me serious. To me, that is on them and not me. It is certainly not on Travis and Parker. People that know what I do, in both my personal and professional life, know that I am serious in my attempting to make The Burg a better place. My interests in Prestonsburg are varied. I wouldn’t have what you would call a singular focus. Some of my actions and ideas for my town are pretty good. Others not so much. In the end, that shouldn’t matter. I am trying. And have been.
So, for 2 names and 50 bucks and a concession to my beautiful wife, I am once again running for office. For now, Travis and Parker will be shelved. Libby is happy now and she deserves the spotlight. Part of my writing of late has been to bring into focus a skill set I quit using long ago. If all goes as planned, I will begin a process of losing more votes than I get but, you will at least no exactly where I stand. The signatures are free and I intend to get my 50 Bucks worth.

I now need 2 names and 50 Bucks. Not for me but for you or someone you know. In the end we need people engaged. Registration for local races does not close until August. Get on a ballot. Be a voice. Run with me or against me, just get involved. No sense in waiting until the signs are hung once again. If we are going to make a difference, it should have already been started. I know I have.
